- Step one – contact us. Please contact us by email providing us with an overview of your situation. The more information you provide us the better able we are to help you. If you can provide us with an email explaining the background, what has happened and what your concerns are together with any relevant documents we can then proceed to step two.
- Step two – our estimate for an initial consultation. For an initial consultation to be worthwhile it is necessary for us to assess the information that you have sent in, consider how long it will take us to review the documentation and how long the consultation is likely to take. Once we have the information from you we will contact you with a fee estimate for an initial consultation. This would normally be for a fixed fee wherever possible.
- Step three – payment on account. Once you have accepted our fee estimate for an initial consultation we will request a payment on account. Once the payment on account has been received we will then either arrange to meet with you at our offices in Cheltenham or Birmingham or set up a video/telephone call. If you would like a meeting at an alternative venue please make us aware at the outset and we will then factor this into our fee estimate.
- Step four – initial consultation. An initial consultation will allow us to get to grips with your case and advise you as to what can be achieved and how best to move your case forward. We will review the information you have supplied then meet (either face to face, by telephone or virtually). At the end of the initial consultation we will record our advice in writing and, where possible, set out a road map so that you can see clearly how we can help you achieve your objectives and what that is likely to cost.
- Please note that due to the large volume of enquiries and the fact this is a complex area of the law we are unable to do justice to enquiries without providing an initial consultation.
Please note that we do not usually accept instructions on a conditional fee agreement (CFA) or no win no fee basis, sometimes there are circumstances if after your initial consultation certain criteria are met we may consider offering our services on this basis. We do not offer services on a legal aid basis.
